Overview

Jsonr is a free, browser-based JSON formatter operated by Infinite Orchard. This page explains what data we collect, what we don't collect, how third-party services on this site handle information, and the terms under which you use the tool.

How Jsonr Works

Jsonr performs all JSON formatting entirely within your web browser. No data is uploaded to any server.

We do not transmit, store, cache, or log any content you provide to the tool. When the tool produces formatted output, that output is generated in your browser's memory. No copies are created on any remote system.

Consent

When you first visit Jsonr, you are presented with a consent prompt. This prompt allows you to accept or decline non-essential services before they are activated. No analytics scripts, advertising scripts, or third-party cookies are loaded until you make a choice.

You can change your consent preferences at any time by clicking the consent settings link in the site footer. If you decline all non-essential services, Jsonr will function normally without analytics or advertisements.

Analytics

If you consent to analytics, Jsonr uses PostHog to collect anonymous, aggregated usage data. This includes information such as page views, session duration, and general browser and device type.

PostHog does not collect personally identifiable information. No names, email addresses, or IP addresses are stored in our analytics. If you do not consent to analytics, PostHog is not loaded and no usage data is collected.

Advertising

Jsonr is a free tool supported by advertising. We work with one or more third-party advertising networks to display ads on this site. The specific networks in use may change over time.

If you consent to advertising: Advertising partners may use cookies or similar technologies to serve relevant ads and to measure ad performance. We select partners that maintain responsible data practices and prioritize privacy-conscious, contextual advertising where available.

If you do not consent to advertising: Advertising scripts are not loaded and no ad-related cookies are set.

Ad placements are clearly separated from the tool interface. Ads are never placed on or adjacent to interactive controls.

Cookies

Jsonr itself does not set any first-party cookies for tracking purposes. The only first-party data stored locally is your consent preference and theme setting. Third-party cookies may be set by analytics or advertising services, but only after you have given consent.

Availability
